Ron Lueck, CEO of Comp Air Aviation announced at a recent press conference that the Comp Air 12 will be FAA certified by the first quarter of 2010. The first prototype aircraft is flying now powered by a Honeywell TPE331-14GR, 1,650 hp turbine engine, swinging a Hartzell 5-blade propeller.  This page will be devoted to updates on flight testing and certification progress, so check in occasionally or sign up for our email updates.
