Comp Air fuselages are molded in 2 halves.

With the "Widebody" Option, the two halves are mated together at the factory with a 4" splice between them.

This option is included as a standard item on the turbine-powered models.

Exterior surfaces have a high quality white gelcoat finish applied at the factory that significantly reduces assembly time. The gelcoat finish acts as a primer & filler, minimizing the effort needed for paint preparation.
